You probably don’t have super-secret agent moves or money coming out of the kazoo, but you can still adopt a Bond like attitude. Try to be charming. Try to be nice. Try to be clever. For instance, let’s say you see a woman at a restaurant.
You could have a drink sent to her table or walk up to her and ask her if you can buy her a drink. No matter what the circumstance, you just have to be kind, polite, respectful, and interested. It doesn’t matter if your conversation starts off by comparing different brands of hummus. The point is that you got her to engage in conversation. Once the two of you start talking, your job will become much easier.
