1. Make an Observation
Use your environment to help you generate things to break the ice with a girl. If you’re in a bar, there might be particular artwork or props in the bar that will give you something to observe and talk about and make a statement to a girl.
2. Ask Her Opinion
Go up and ask her for an opinion on something. It could be on what beer is better, or it could be an opinion on which city is better. Be creative. Find different things you can ask for an opinion on.
The old school opinion opener used to be, “Who lies more, girls or women?” It’s a little bit outdated and overused, but surprisingly still can work well in opening a girl and getting her in a talkative and engaged conversation.
3. Find Something you Like
Find something you like on her and tell. She may have a particular dress or be wearing a particular type of shoe that really grabs your attention.
I did this recently to a girl that was in a bar, and she was wearing these awesome boots. I just complimented her and said I just hadn’t seen any girl around here wearing that particular type of shoe. From then on, it really led into a great conversation, and I ended up getting her number.
4. Ask a Question
If you’re in a new city, asking questions is a great way to open up to girls. You might be lost, or you might be trying to find a particular landmark. It’s a great excuse to go up to a hot girl and ask her for some directions, or perhaps maybe ask a question and ask where are the good bars, or what’s really good tonight, in terms of nightlife.
5. Be Honest
Go up to her and say, “I really like you. I like the way you look, or I think you’re really hot, and I just want to talk to you.” Sometimes honesty is the best policy. She knows exactly why you’re talking to her, so just call it out and get it over with initially. This will help avoid putting you in the friend zone, because she knows that you’re interested in her, and you’re not just there for a friendly afternoon or evening conversation.
Use these five tips today and you will realize that when you approach a girl easily and confidently, it will display to her that you have confidence.
