There are a lot of single men looking for the perfect system for picking up women. They approach human behavior in a purely mechanistic fashion. Quite frankly – there is no perfect system. The reality is that even the guys who are the best in the world don’t pick up every woman that they interact with. And I’m thinking that a significant portion of the reason guys look for the ‘perfect’ system is because they have a fear of rejection.
But rejection happens even to the most experienced of us, and it could happen for a wide variety of reasons. It could be that she is having a bad day, that she is in a relationship, that she hasn’t got time, and other reasons. Whatever it might be, it’s not necessarily you. You cannot expect to pick up every single woman. At the same time, this knowledge should be reassuring because it means that some of the time it won’t be your fault.
Embrace failure
Failure really is a chance for feedback and the opportunity to grow. You need to get really comfortable with the fact that failure is more than guaranteed to occur. Anyone who has ever succeeded in life has risked things and failed. Take Michael Jordan for example… I believe it was in high school that he was actually dropped from his basketball team. His coach actually said that he should give up playing basketball altogether.
So what did he do? Did he use this and develop a fear of failure? He didn’t take that as a sign that he would never be capable of playing basketball. He took that as a sign that it was an opportunity to prove his coach wrong. He was so passionate about basketball, that he literally spent every day from that point on working on his skills and becoming one of the best basketball players of all time. He also had one of the best work ethics of all time when it comes to being an athlete.
It is all about your attitude and your mindset, and looking at things in a positive way. Instead of seeing things as obstacles, see them as challenges and realize that men grow from each challenge. We grow as people, we evolve who we are. Every obstacle is actually a brilliant opportunity in disguise. There is a solution to every mathematical equation, so get out there and solve yours.
