How can a great guy get great dates from online websites?

Dating websites are a great way to start interacting with multiple women at one time, but they have challenges as well.
How do you stand out among the other guys and keep her interested in you – to the point of taking the relationship off the internet and into the real world?
Be persistent.
The key here is to be persistent without being needy. Persistence is an incredibly powerful technique that really demonstrates a lot of attractive things about you. One of the challenges that guys face with free dating online is the traffic and volume of messages that girls get. It’s easy for the girls to get distracted and it’s easy for them to miss your messages the first time around. Being unique in the way that you respond to her can be really important. You want to draw positive attention to yourself and overshadow all the other messages that she is getting from other guys.
Be creative.
A lot of guys will just send message with, “Hi, I liked your profile. I thought I would say hi.” You are really doing nothing through that to separate yourself from the noise that she is getting on a daily basis from other guys looking to connect with her. So if you can say something unique that you have noticed about her profile, or ask her a questions that she wasn’t expecting, that will separate you from the pack.
Be exciting.
The second thing that is important is you have got to set your profile up in way that is exciting and refreshing to her because a lot of girls will automatically click on your profile when they get a message. You can spend a lot of time writing the perfect message but if your profile is a dog’s breakfast, then you will not get a positive response.
Get the back and forth going.
The third thing about dating online is try and keep your communication going back and forth as quickly as possible. You want to build up some positive momentum. So if she does respond to you, you have to respond almost immediately. The more that you can get messaging going back and forth, the easier it is to be able to cash in on that momentum and move it to either instant messaging chat or to getting her number and communicating over the phone. I have found talking to women on the phone makes the whole process that much easier.
If you take a while, like 3 or 4 days to respond, it’s likely then that momentum is going to continue and she might take a couple of weeks to respond to you, and eventually it fizzles out. You want to close quickly if the attraction is strong and mutual. Don’t take too long or you will miss your window of opportunity to meet this girl.
Now let’s say that there is a girl that you really like. You send her a message and she hasn’t responded. The secret to online dating is by staying persistent. I treat this in exactly the same way as when I call a girl and I don’t get through to her and I want to call her again. The second time I’ll send something a little bit more casual like “Hi gorgeous girl, just checking up to see how you are doing. Feel free to message me at a later stage or otherwise I’ll message you again a bit later on.”
What that does is it lets her know that you are persistent. It lets her know that you are not going to give up on her and you are going to keep messaging her. Once again you have got to be mindful of not being put it in a needy frame here, which is why you want to keep those messages as relaxed as possible. Usually that will then trigger her to respond, and then you just get back to focusing on the other things that we have spoken about as well.
