There are keys things to keep in mind when you’re trying to date an ex-girlfriend, or someone that you’ve previously known? If you want to date your ex girlfriend, take it as easy as possible and start with baby steps. It should be a slow, evolving process, so that both of you can grow into this together. You want to prevent her from feeling like she has to decide whether she wants to see you on a more long-term basis.

On a very rare occasion a girl’s giving you nothing, you’re dating her, and you’re just wondering to yourself where this is going to go. She’s just not readable.
Usually there are signs she wants to date you, but, when you are dating her, she’s not giving you any signals. This is a good time to call her out and ask her, “Hey, where are we at right now? What do you think of me? I just really want to know whether I should get my hopes up high that this is going to eventuate into a relationship, or whether this is just a casual friends reunited situation”, and find out for sure.
By doing that, she’ll may open up to you and tell you she’s not be doing it because she doesn’t like you – maybe she’s really shy or not a great communicator. Ask her in a fun, friendly way that makes her feel comfortable to answer you. Then you’ll know one way or the other if she is wanting to date you or not.
