Contrast works in a way that allows a certain part of your personality or expression to be quite direct, whilst the other part of your personality is quite indirect. As an example you might choose to be indirect with your verbal communication, concentrating on bland topics, but beneath the surface you are sending her strong messages through your non verbal communication.
When you are communicating, your eye contact, hand gestures, and the inflection in your voice can relay how you are feeling at any given time. Body language is a powerful thing, and women spot cues in body language better than anyone. If you don’t believe me watch a woman flirt. Watch her body language. It’s all there.
When you are communicating in this matter, what’s happening between you is all non verbal. The actions of your body have nothing to do with what is being said. In fact, with women, it’s not necessarily what you say that makes the difference, it’s how you say it.
Remember the old saying “actions speak louder than words”. It’s very true when it comes to non verbal cues and flirting. So, if you can master the art of getting your feeling across without speaking them, then that, really, is what flirting is all about.

As you flirt, use nonverbal cues like biting your bottom lip or just slightly wetting your top lip. There is some powerful body language going on when you start to play with your hair a little, or you play with your belt buckle. Having that power of contrast can be very powerful.
