The secret is to evaluate what your girl thinks is funny and then to develop girlfriend humor that she appreciates. In fact it’s wise to do this before you even start dating.
How to Get a Girl to Laugh
Funny girlfriend jokes will make you laugh, and things that you do will make her laugh. For instance you might get funny gifts for your girlfriend, or you might tell her funny stories.
Generally if you’re not looking for other people’s approval as a source of validation, girls will be able to see this and they’ll be able to identify that you’re not going to be a needy boyfriend. They will be happy to have fun with you.
A lot of the time, this is a really key factor for a girl.
Develop the Confidence to tell Funny Girlfriend Jokes
If a girl senses that you’re going to constantly need her approval and validation, you’re going to drain energy from her and you won’t make her laugh easily.
Really, the way that the polarity of masculine energy and feminine energy works, the relationship should be the other way around. Usually it’s the girl looking to gain her validation and approval from the man. So if a guy is able to ignore and disregard what people think, and not care if people look at him the “wrong” way, many women will see this as a positive quality.
Learn to Laugh at Yourself
I think another positive quality is just being able to laugh at yourself and not take yourself too seriously.
This can be a challenge for a lot of guys because they feel like they need to go out and impress girls. The psychological problem is that if they don’t take themselves seriously enough they believe that it will demonstrate that they don’t believe in themselves. Or they might feel they’re a little bit low on personal value.
For this reason being able to laugh at yourself is a really positive personality trait. It is equally important being able to laugh at your girlfriend, and not take her too seriously all the time.
This does not imply that you want to belittle her in any way. She should be able to laugh at girlfriend jokes too. If she can, then chances are she does pass the girlfriend humor test.

I guess you have to get a feeling for where the boundaries are in a relationship to pass the humor test. So when you’re trying to be funny, you’ve got to recognize why you’re doing it.
For instance, if you’re using black humor because you think it’s attractive to girls, and that girls will like you more, then you’re probably approaching it incorrectly.
It’s got more to do with sensitivity than what YOU think is funny girlfriend humor.
So what you’re going to need to start doing is to carefully watch how girls respond when you tell girlfriend jokes. If a girl doesn’t respond positively, you probably need to change your approach.
This is not how to woo a woman. All you will do is turn her off; and turning off women just defeats the whole purpose of a loving relationship.
If you do use black humor, the real reason should be because you like it. Perhaps you enjoy being a little politically incorrect (on un-PC), or maybe you simply appreciate the awkwardness of this style of humor.
But don’t expect everyone to find you funny.
What you’ll find is that some girls will respond really warmly, and that’s alright for you because it will let you know that essentially both of you have the same sense of humor.
If a girl responds warmly, she’s passed the test for you.
If a girl doesn’t respond warmly, don’t rub it in her face, but at the same time don’t apologize for what you like. Just accept her reaction as part of the screening process. She hasn’t passed the test, and that’s perfectly okay. If she’s not a good fit for you, you’re probably not a good fit for her.
So if black humor is what you’re into, you can utilize your humor and your approach to making people feel a little bit awkward as a bit of a test to see if they’re going to be a good mate for you down the track.
