A little imagination can go a long way when asking a girl out
Girls can really respond to guys that solve how to ask a girl out using creative ways. However a guy shouldn’t feel like he has to have panache every time he hits on a girl or every time he asks a girl out. That will actually put a lot of external pressure on a guy and usually that’s the cause of any social anxiety he may have.
Guys often feel like they have to find cute ways to ask a girl out or to say something really impressive. Maybe a guy feels like he has to talk about a really extraordinary topic of conversation for a girl to get excited by him but that’s just not the case. However, there are times when using a little imagination to ask a girl out may have a bit more of an impact on her.
I think the key to this is not doing it just because you feel like you need to do it to win her approval but rather because you want to give her a really good feeling. That’s how you make her feel great about herself.
An example that comes to mind is with one of my most significant long term girlfriends. When I first met her out one night, I complimented her on her style and energy and I said I’d come find her later so we could have a proper chat. I did that and we started to build a little bit of a connection but before I could get her number to ask her out her friends came over and dragged her away. Throughout the rest of the night we continued to make eye contact, we continued to build some intimacy, and some interest in each other from a distance. However, every time I tried to get close to her, her friend’s boyfriends would step in and shield me away from her on the dance floor.
It was an awkward situation to be able to progress things. What I did was to get a little creative before it was too late. While we were both in the taxi line at the end of the night I spoke to the lady who was organizing the taxis and asked her if I could borrow a pen and paper. I wrote this girl a cute little note thanking her for the limited time that we got to spend with each other and for the brief but exciting moments that we were able to spend together from a distance.
I left my number there and I handed it to the taxi lady to pass it on to her. She thought that was a creative and cute way for me to be able to take things to the next level and she responded warmly to that. If you can think of ways to ask a girl out that are a little bit outside the box, that could be a great trick.
Here’s another thing that I like to do which is one of my most creative ways of asking a girl out: if you go to Google and type in “Soviet Rose” you will find some YouTube videos that teach you how to make a paper rose out of a napkin. You can make those roses and write your number on one of the petals and then hand that to the girl. I think that’s another example of thinking outside the box and another inventive way of asking a girl out.
