Many people want to know how to become popular, cool person. Obviously, girls will pick up on this too. But there are ways to be cool and become popular without looking like you are trying.
Here are three easy steps to becoming popular:
1. Create an avatar; an image.
Everything about your personality should be in alignment with this image. Your look, posture, social circle, and the types of activities you do need to support your image. When you ask yourself, “How do i become popular?” you are one step closer to making it happen by opening yourself up to improving your life.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t veer from that image and it doesn’t mean that you can’t be well rounded. You should be a bit of an in-betweener where no one can really pigeonhole you and get a sense of who you are, which can actually affect you in terms of being popular.
2. Focus on building your social circle.
I see the focus that most guys I have worked with say, “I need to get more friends.” But, not all friends are created equal. You can spend an entire year trying to make friends with maybe a hundred different people. When you do it that way you’re expanding your social circle like by building one friend at a time.
Or you can make friends with one connector. Someone who’s well connected and they have a massive social circle themselves. But becoming close with that one person and buying into their life, you’re going to expand your social circle by a hundred straight away. When you do become popular, you will someday be a connector, so think about it that way.
Find out who the connectors are. Find out what you can offer them in terms of value and really work on putting some emphasis on having more connector friendships.
3. Model yourself after other popular, cool guys.
When I was first starting to find ways to become popular, I would go out to clubs and I would have a look at the guys who were having success with popularity. As I watched other guys around me I asked myself, “How can i become popular?” The answer was right in front of my face. I just had to learn to be open to seeing the answer.
I would have a look at their body language. I would have a look at the clothes they were wearing and I’d have a look at the way they were interacting. Then I would start to model how to be popular. Modeling excellence is one of the most under-utilized success tactics out there.
If you can just start with those three simple philosophies and simple guidelines, they’re instantly going to change the way that people perceive you. As you start to make that shift to working to get popular, a world of possibility will opened up to you.
You’ll actually find girls will not only respond warmly and positively when you approach them, but they’ll actually go out of their way to approach you. They’ll send their friends to tell you how cute they think you are.
