One of the things you want to think about when it comes to building connections with girls is positivity and being positive in an interaction.
This means eliminating any negative communication. Don’t frown, don’t have your arms crossed or have any other kind of bad body language, and don’t have a tense face.
The more positive communication you have, the better.
That goes for subject matter as well. Don’t talk about death, funerals, and shit like that. Just keep things light and fun. Keep things positive and encouraging. Have a smile on your face. If you want to have a good rapport, you want to be smiling and be in a positive state.
Coordination is another thing or mirroring.
If a girl is sitting a certain way, be like a mirror to her. If she’s got her leg over the other one, put your leg over the same. If she’s leaning to the right, you could lean to the left so that you’re like a mirror to her.
If her arms are crossed, you could cross your arms. That’s an acceptable way of not having negative body language. If her speaking is high-energy and there’s a bit of a higher tone in her voice, you can raise your tone a little. This is being in sync.
This is being coordinated and synchronous and is a great way to build a connection with a girl.
That also goes for what you’re talking about. If she starts talking about this awesome adventure she went on, you could talk about similar things and relate. If she’s talking about this adventure she went on and then you start talking about how tough your week at work was, that’s always going to fall short.
Whereas if you start relating back to her how you also had an amazing adventure or you’ve never been on an amazing adventure and you’d love to, you’re keeping the topic the same. That’s a really good thing to start practicing and keeping in mind.
Moving the girl around, as well, is going to really help create a massive amount of connection.
If you met someone in a certain location, it could be inside a venue or on the street, but if you’re then moving with that person from one location to another location inside a venue, or if you’re outside and you’re walking together… if you go from meeting on the street and then go to a café or the waterside, moving with someone just creates a massive amount of rapport.
It just does something in our brains where we feel like we’ve known a person for longer than we actually have. So that’s one really effective method of building rapport to keep in mind.
Also, I always mention this, but just treating someone as if you’ve known them and have been friends for ten years. If you just treat someone as if you’re long-time buddies from the minute that you start interacting with them, it’s really going to shoot the levels of rapport right through the roof.
That’s just a handful of things you can keep in mind when thinking about learning how to connect with girls.
