Have high standards for yourself.
Guys can impress women by being creating something they are impressed with. What this does, is it demonstrates to women what sort of standards you have in your life. If you are someone who walks up to a party with a sheet over your body and two eyeholes cut out, you may as well have not fucking bothered.
If you’re someone who gets really involved with whatever the party is, then you become really attractive. If you dress up to the theme, because you have high standards on how you present yourself, and you make damn sure that if you’re going to do something, you’re going to do it to a hundred percent, then that’s going to be impressive to women. Not some specific Halloween costume.
Don’t try to impress women.
The issue is that a lot of guys who do that sort of stuff, they go overboard, but they’ll do it from the perspective of trying to seek the approval of women. That will then naturally resonate through everything that he does. She will hear it in his voice tonality, she’ll see it in his body language, and she’ll recognize it in the undertones of the words he’s saying.
When she gets the sense that he is desperate for attention and desperate for approval, that will set off alarm bells in her head. If you think of the guys who are really successful with women, you’ll recognize that they don’t need to go out of their way to get attention from women. They already know that they have it… so why would they seek it?
Stop caring what she thinks of you.
Imagine a Brad Pitt or a George Clooney. Let’s say a girl didn’t give them her approval. How do you think they would respond? They would shrug it off. It would be irrelevant, because there are plenty of other girls to go around.
It’s good that guys take pride in their appearance; it’s good that guys, when they go to a Halloween party, make that extra effort. But they should be doing it more because it’s a standard that they set for themselves, rather than something they think they might utilize to impress girls.
