When I first started learning how to pick up women, there was so much information available that I quickly became confused and overwhelmed. All I wanted to learn was how to pick up women, and I wanted quick answers and quicker fixes.
But with all the information out there, how was I to find the simple answers I so easily wanted?
Be the best at everything you do
To add to my problems, I didn’t know which information was to be trusted.
Identifying simple and basic information that was going to get me the results that I so desperately wanted was going to be hard to find. I could not sort through all of the information to get to the real nuggets on how to pick up women.
There were two specific things that I desired to know.
First, I wanted to know how to quickly improve my confidence.
Second, I wanted to know how to pick up the most girls effectively. This is the information I want to impart to you. I want to help you cut off the fat from all the dating advice available and get to the meat of the matter. In my experience, there are two things that you need to grasp if you successfully want to pick up women.
1. Aim to be in the top 20%, the cream of the crop
Picking up women is not a technique you pick up off the internet, it is a mindset.
You must have the right mindset to begin with. Are you setting yourself up for success or failure? Are you aiming to be in the top 20%, or the bottom of the barrel?
The idea of being in the top 20% means that you must aim at being the elite. Aiming to be the elite helps you stand out from the rest of the crowd. If you are in the top 20% in how you dress, how many women you talk to, and how much confidence you have, then you are going to be more self-assured and successful. Start aiming high and start looking to be in the top percentile at all times. Most men who have success with women are the same men who aim to be in the elite. These men can’t be in the elite in every endeavor of their life, that’s just impossible to do. However, successful men continually aim for that goal at all times.
For example, I took a friend bowling who was great most things.
He bowled a 200 on his first try, which sums up his mindset. He knew he was good, and he was accustomed to being elite in just about everything he did. He knew how to pick up women primarily because he set high standards for himself. If he did not know how to do something, he would learn how fast. This was how his brain was wired. He always aimed to get better and be the best at whatever he chose to do. This is the everlasting principle you should always strive for.
Here is a simple example of how to implement this principle. If there are ten guys in a room and they are all wearing jeans, then you want to make sure that you are the guy with the most fashionable sought after jeans. It’s all in the mindset; program your mind to be the best at what you do, wherever you are doing it.
2. Do not ask for permission, ask for forgiveness
What this means is that you should just go after what you want. Be a risk taker and just do it. You don’t have to ask permission. If you are on a date with a woman, don’t wait to see if she is interested before you kiss her. Just go for it. Don’t wait for permission and take the risk. If it fails, then ask for forgiveness.
Always remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
There are always mistakes to be made along the way, but mistakes aren’t necessarily bad, they result in additional experience and learning. What doesn’t work, don’t use. But be self-assured in all that you do, and remember that kindness goes a long way with women.
If you can implement these two tips (and the mindset they require), you are more likely to be successful with women. You won’t be scanning the internet for advice on how to pick up women; you will be giving the advice instead.
