So you want to get your ex back.
Things seem pretty hopeless at the moment, right?
So you met in school, she was the love of your life, but things didn’t work out. Maybe this even happened years ago and you haven’t been able to get her out of your mind. You think about her, when you meet any new girl. Maybe it even feels like your world is crumbling.
You just want her back, right?
It is very natural thing to want to get your ex back. If you have been with her for a long time, then there will be a lot of grieving. Don’t be shy about grieving, there is nothing wrong with it at all. Most men don’t grieve enough. But you do want to start meeting other women. This would be a very healthy step for you. I know you don’t want to hear that, because you are likely still in love with your ex. Many guys in your situation don’t want anybody, but their girl. However, the universe (or life) has different plans for you.
Accept that she is gone.
Try to change how you see the breakup… turn it into something positive. Be optimistic about everything. Try not to get too depressed, or think about it too much, which will only exacerbate things. Think about other things that you love. Think about your passions, your goals, or things that get you excited. Try to take your mind off of your ex-girlfriend. The best thing that I recommend to guys, who say that they want to get back together with their ex, is to forget about her for a while. Put thoughts of her aside. Don’t look at the breakup as an option; you broke up for a reason.
Focus on yourself.
Go back to the drawing board. Look at yourself. Think about how you can make yourself better. Think about the things you can do to better your life, such as activities you like, travel, hanging out with guy friends, or meeting up with friends you haven’t seen in a while. These types of things will help to get your mind off of your ex girlfriend.
There is nothing like getting your mind off your girlfriend than meeting new women. You might even meet the actual love of your life. Don’t miss the possibility of meeting a woman (who is better for you) by focusing on the past. Broaden your horizons. Meeting new women is going to be very good for you.
