What can I learn from music and from musicians when it comes to picking up women? What is there to learn from the singers themselves?
Good songs and good music are all about connection.
It’s about forming a connection from the person who’s singing to the person who’s listening. What you want to try to do is create this mindset where the two people feel like they’re in the exact same place at the same time. The other thing that’s really important with music is to understand that it’s an art form, it’s all about expression.
I think when trying to connect with women, guys tend to look at it as though it’s a science. They feel that if they follow step A, then step B, then step C, that it will finally all lead to step D. Unfortunately, whilst you may have a little bit of success following a step by step formula, you’ll find that it will lack a certain connection. You won’t necessarily be able to take things the whole way. You might get a girl attracted to you, but then she’s likely to flake on you.
The real key to having success with women is being able to completely express yourself.
Think of your interactions with women as more of a dance than a science

Treating the interaction as a dance. It’s a mutual dance of the two people working together, getting to know each other, escalating on each other, and starting to build a sexual connection. I think that’s a really key point that a lot of guys miss when starting to work on this part of their life.
The third component that I think we should be learning from songs is that words have power.
The way we communicate to women can have an impact on creating and eliciting an emotional response from her. When guys work on and improve conversation skills a lot of the time they think it’s about saying something interesting, or talking about an interesting topic. That will maybe help a little bit but what’s going to be far more powerful is if the guy can talk in the language of emotions.
Talk about how things make him feel.
Talk about things that really excite him so that he can essentially transfer that excitement to her, because that’s the level that women work on. Interestingly, we can probably get better clarification on this when we look at the types of music that women are into. How often are women into a song that is intellectually well written and well presented? Or is it a song that has a rhythm that elicits a particular emotion and a particular feeling in her? More often than not it’s the second one.
Looking at songs the way they’re presented, the impact they have, and taking lessons from them that you can implement in your dating life, is a really great approach. I think that guys can do this in other areas of their life too. Think of things that also have an impact on women, and then work out what are the positive traits, or what are the reasons why this thing has an impact on women, and then ask yourself how you can replicate that in your own life.
