Guys are visual creatures…
So we want a woman that is attractive to us visually, but you want to look on the inside too.
External and internal beauty is a common thing that guys look for in a woman. We might find a girl that is attractive physically, but if she’s a nasty person on the inside that attraction is only going to keep us around for a little while. For most of us, we don’t want a trophy girlfriend or wife. We want someone that is more like a friend and who is also a lover.
Look for shared interests.
Most guys look for a girl we can share interests with so that we can talk about things and do things that we like to do together. We also tend to look for girls that cares for them; someone that’s there for you when you need them the most that’s willing to support you with your challenges. Guys are not looking for someone to mother them. They are looking for someone who will be a rock in their lives when they need it though.
Strong and submissive.
We want a woman who is strong but is also at times submissive. We don’t want her to be the masculine part of our relationship but we still want her strong enough to know that she’s a good foundation. Also, we want girls who have that feminine polarity that compliments a guy’s masculine polarity.
Challenging.
Many guys want women who challenge us and might not agree with all of our points. We want to know that she has something to say and that she is willing to say it. But, we also want her to be willing to listen to our take on things. Even in the initial stage while we’re trying to court her she might make it challenging for us. Men are naturally hunters so if she provides more of a challenge we will value her more. A challenging girl can be quite appealing and interesting. We need someone who stimulates the mind and have interesting in depth conversations with from time to time. A girl that has opinions and does interesting things too can keep interest levels quite high.
Attractive.
It is also really important to guys that a girl that looks after herself and cares about her appearance, health, and wants to better herself to keep her mind and body active and healthy. She doesn’t have to be a granola girl or super-jock. But a girl who is well put together and knows it is a great attraction for many guys.
Funny.
We also like a girl who is funny and knows she can make you laugh. She should also be able to laugh at herself and be willing to laugh at (or with) you too. Her ability to laugh will show that she doesn’t take herself too seriously and is probably able to roll with the punches that life sometimes throws at you.
